From Cancer to Wholeness
16 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer with 10 surgeries in 2 years. It was devastating as you can imagine. I was convinced that I was going to die so I might as well prepare everyone and myself for the inevitable. I went through Chemotherapy and 38 Radiation treatments. After a double mastectomy and radical Hysterectomy, I was told my cancer was gone and showed no signs of it in my body yet there was an 87% of it returning and that was a blessing but in its place I was left taking a handful of pills twice a day.
One night while looking at the pills that were my daily experience I decided that there had to be another way to get whole. I would rather have died than continued taking the pills that had been prescribed. I cannot endorse anyone doing what I did, but I felt God had a better plan.
In the process of getting free from the drugs, I became very depressed. I had feelings that God had abandoned me at my lowest point. I then came across a verse in the bible where God promised His people that He would feed them with fruit and heal them with plants. (Ez. 47:12) Claiming that verse, I asked God to show me the plants. For 10 years I just created all these items for myself. I found plants to help with the pain in my joints and heal my skin. I found tinctures to be the best way to get the benefits of the plants into my body. Around 3 years ago I felt the Lord telling me to share what I had learned with everyone and so Sinclair Apothecary was born.
What we can grow ourselves we do. We try our best to source all other raw materials from organic growers in Texas that don’t use any pesticides or chemicals.
We pray you gain strength and healing from any of the products God has led us to create.
